Crew: Sol 3

We've been in our house for 6 months now.  With the news that Kittery's folks will be moving out we've started working on the plans for the basement.  I'm hoping to use this thread to drive some design issues and clarify needs, wants & desires.

I've opted for the office to go at the base of the stairs rather than at the far left of each drawing.  Most of the reason for this is based on where the utilities feed into the basement as well as where all of the plumbing feeds and exits the basement.  At the far left is a master suite.  It is comprised of a roughly 150 sq ft bedroom directly attached to a roughly 140 sq ft sitting room.  The sitting room leads into a small hallway which goes to the bathroom (straight) or the great room (left).  The great room is roughly 15'x18' bringing it in at around 270 sq ft.  Above the stair-case (in the pictures above) is a walkway/library with sitting nooks.  On the bottom side of the stairway is a sauna and workout room.  Finally, at the far right is the office and an enclosed wine cellar,  The furnace/hot water heater is also integrated into the office and boxed in to help reduce the noise level when it runs.
